Finger Lakes Radio Group Political Advertising Policies

We are required, by law, to offer the lowest unit rate to qualified candidates and their official campaign organizations for all races should we decide to accept political advertising.  We are required to accept advertising for Federal races.  Other races are at our discretion by station. Should we accept advertising in any particular race, we will make time available to opponents.

Lowest Unit rate is available in the 45 day period prior to the primary election date and the 60 day period prior to the general election date.  Political advertising outside those time frames will be charged the regular rate. 

Only qualified candidates and their official campaign organizations are eligible for the lowest unit rate.  County political parties, special interest groups, PACS, etc. are not eligible.

All candidates who air political advertising, whether in the lowest unit rate window or not, must submit the NAB political form here.  All political orders must be paid in advance.
